Hello, I’m Christian! I’m a National Fencer and I’m proud to be able to represent my country in the sport that I love!

My parents had heard about the fencing from a friend, and they thought that it would be a good sport for me to pick up. Like any other seven-year-old boy, I was bouncing off the walls and my insatiable curiosity was surpassed only by my endless need to run around and have fun in every way possible. When my parents suggested that I take up fencing, I agreed before I even knew what ‘fencing’ was!

Initially, I saw fencing as just a hobby, a recreational sport. However, when I came to Absolute Fencing and began to train once more with the very coach who first taught me how to fence, I learned to see fencing as a commitment, and my interest was replaced by a passion for the sport, a passion that still burns today.

It has been eight years since I first picked up the blade, and I have been taken on a ride unlike any other, making good friends and good memories along the way.  If given the choice, I would gladly make the same decision that I made all those years ago.
