Zong Ren values the spirit of hard work. He always encourages and motivates his students to do their very best during training. As an athlete himself, he perseveres through many hardships and does not give up easily.

Being an athlete and coach at the same time also helps him relate to his students, to understand and meet their needs. With the experience competing overseas, Zong Ren is also able to constantly stay up to date in the current fencing meta and ensure students always have an edge over other fencers.
